Areas of expertise

Chris is a Senior Associate in Mullins Lawyers' Private Client Group who joined the firm in January 2011.

Chris advises her clients in relation to a broad range of estate matters, including estate planning (including wills and testamentary trusts), estate administration (including advising executors, administrators and beneficiaries), contentious and non-contentious estate litigation (including family provision applications, solemn form proceedings, interpretation or rectification of wills), guardianship and administration matters (including enduring powers of attorney, proceedings in the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and providing advice to attorneys, guardians and administrators in relation to the exercise of their powers).

Prior to joining Mullins, Chris worked in a role which spanned across a number of general legal practice areas. This broad experience enables her to provide well-rounded advice to clients.

Chris is an active member of the succession law community and currently serves on three committees - the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Queensland Branch committee, the Queensland Law Society (QLS) Succession Law Policy Committee and the QLS Elder Law Policy Committee. Chris' role on these committees allows her to keep abreast of changes to succession and elder law and advocate for improvement to the law.
